Wave Pattern

Last time we were in the Central Coast of California, we walked on the San Simeon Pier, such a beautiful day, winter in California! I was excited by the patterns of the waves below us & shot a few pics. I am planning on doing a series called Patterns in Nature. Here's the first!

So, I thought I could use softer color....well I did, but it still packs a pretty good punch in this seascape.

Future Paintings

I was a little disapointed as I arrived in Ventura yesterday to take some big wave photos. It was a little overcast & the turquoise water was not shining through like it can. I took a bunch of photos anyway. Here are the best. It will be a challenge to tone down my usual vivid tomes & work in a softer palette.

Website up & running!

I spent yesterday in Ventura with a bunch of wonderful ladies at a website workshop hosted by Leslie Saeta. As we sat watching glorious waves, we built our own web-sites with Leslie's help.

What a great day, allot of fun & we each came away with a beautiful new website!
